I have an Imax 2000 at the moment, will replacing it with a Sirio Vector 4000 be a noticeable improvement or should I save my cash?

I reckon the Vector should perform better.

Hard to say how much by until you try it though.

I will take a guess at a 1 to 2 S-point improvement.

you will notice a difference...
locals 'may' seem less on signal, but further away, 25/35 mile will be improved..

id like a sirio 827 but the i max 2000 is a good antenna

I've had all the above antennas mentioned....forget them all and go for a Sirio Gain Master..beats the lot of them...Friend of mine has a Sigma IV on test against a SGM at the moment along with his 3 ele beam, and one vertical has to come down, and its not the Sirio Wink My own 827 was taken down in favour of the SGM and WOW the difference is clear ...the SGM has out performed any other vertical on local and DX work.....plus a flat VSWR from 25.500 to 29.800....  read about it here http://www.gain-master.it/
